Seungsoo BAEK, a Korean sculptor born in Busan in 1979, lives and works in Paris after studying visual arts at Paris I.
Sung-Pil CHAE builds his work around earth, completely covering the canvas. More aligned with Cézanne or Monet than with conceptual artists, his paintings oscillate between abstraction and figuration, often framed by a suggestive compositional window.
Kwang-Bum JANG draws inspiration from layers of paint accumulated on the walls of an old Paris Beaux-Arts studio. Obsessed with time, he applies up to a hundred layers of acrylic on canvas, revealing a geological depth.
Sun Mi KIM, born in Seoul in 1976, has lived in France since 2000. Her work, both ethereal and visceral, balances density and lightness. She explores themes such as human connection, separation, spatial presence, and hidden dimensions of reality. Before arriving at her current visual language, she experimented with performance, photography, and installation.
