EARTH & COSMOS: Hoon MOREAU

Past exhibition
26 August - 20 October 2024
  • Overview
EARTH & COSMOS, Hoon MOREAU

Hoon Moreau, born in Seoul in 1967, graduated in 1991 and 1998 respectively from the Fine Arts at the Seoul National University, then in Interior Architecture and Design at the Ecole Camondo in Paris.

This dual career path, combined with her Franco-Korean sensitivity, allowed her to ensure numerous collaborations for 20 years to lead interior architecture and furniture projects for museums, palaces, luxury hotels and palaces, within major architectural firms, such as Wilmotte & Associés.

Passionate about sculpture since her beginnings, this interior architect and designer, embarked in 2014 on a bold challenge to redefine our relationship with art by intimately linking sculpture and functionality.

In 2024, Artskoco seeks to associate its artists with an inspiration guided by the cosmos, in preparation for the 1st European Interstellar Symposium to be held in Luxembourg in December. This theme suits Hoon Moreau all the more since for 3 years already, her work has been inspired by gravity, by the dynamics of the universe.

Hoon Moreau interprets in her own way the slogan "we are stardust" by Hubert Reeves. Stardust with a very tangible impact on earth.
